Description
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Polymer Science, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within plastic manufacturing (injection moulding or recycling preferred)
- Strong knowledge of QMS (e.g., ISO 9001) and process improvement tools (e.g., Six Sigma)
- Hands-on experience with laboratory testing and technical equipment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
- A Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality policies
- Conduct audits and inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to drive continuous improvement
- Investigate customer complaints and internal quality issues, implementing corrective actions
- Lead, train, and supervise QA/QC teams
- Prepare and present quality reports and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with production and procurement teams to ensure quality at all stages
- Oversee laboratory equipment maintenance and ensure proper calibration procedures.
