Student Welfare:

  • Ensure the safety, well-being, and discipline of student-athletes living in the residency house.
  • Monitor and address any behavioral or social issues among the students.
  • Provide emotional support and counseling when needed.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive atmosphere that fosters teamwork and camaraderie.

Residential Life Management:

  • Supervise the day-to-day operations of the residency house.
  • Assign and manage dormitory rooms, ensuring cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Oversee the meal schedule and nutritional needs of the student-athletes.
  • Coordinate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and well-organized daily routine.

Academic Support:

  • Encourage and monitor the academic progress of student-athletes, ensuring they balance their studies with their athletic commitments.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support students who may require extra assistance.
  • Implement study hours or study groups to facilitate academic success.

Athletic Support:

  • Collaborate with coaches and trainers to ensure athletes' training and competition schedules are well-coordinated with their academic commitments.
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to athletes in their athletic pursuits.
  • Monitor and address any injuries or health concerns that may arise.

Communication:

  • Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians to update them on students' progress and well-being.
  • Communicate with school administrators, coaches, and teachers to ensure a holistic approach to student development.

Emergency Preparedness:

  • Develop and implement emergency procedures for the residency house.
  • Conduct regular safety drills and ensure all necessary safety equipment is available and functional.

Role Model and Leadership:

  • Set a positive example for student-athletes in terms of behavior, discipline, and dedication.
  • Encourage and instill good values, sportsmanship, and ethical behavior in students.

Administrative Duties:

  • Keep records of student-athletes' attendance, behavior, and academic progress.
  • Prepare reports and provide feedback to school administrators on the residency house's activities and achievements.
