Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ accounting experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas servicing industry.
Demonstrable experience in invoicing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) or active pursuit of certification is an added advantage.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws, IFRS, and statutory reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems).
Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journals, and general ledgers.
Prepare, review, and process customer invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing in line with contract terms.
Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and reconcile customer accounts.
Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of vendors and suppliers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Monitor project costs and prepare cost analysis reports.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, statutory remittances, IFRS, and company financial policies.
Support internal and external audits by preparing the required financial documentation.
