About the role:
We are seeking a results-driven Brand Promoter - a professional to lead local brand execution and market development in Nigeria. The role is responsible for translating global brand strategy into high-impact local initiatives, supported by strong market insights, distributor collaboration, and targeted brand activations.
The ideal candidate brings a balance of strategic thinking and on-the-ground execution, with proven experience working closely with sales channels, distributors, and technical customers. They will drive brand visibility through promotions, events, and training, while continuously measuring impact and identifying new growth opportunities.
This position requires a self-motivated, commercially aware individual who can operate independently, engage diverse stakeholders, and thrive in a multinational environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities for the Brand Promoter
>Execute Local Brand Strategy
Adapt and implement headquarters’ brand strategy to align with the Nigerian market context.
Customize promotional initiatives based on local culture, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
>Conduct Market Research and Gather Insights
Perform comprehensive market analysis,
Identify consumer preferences, competitor activities, and emerging market trends.
Monitor and evaluate brand awareness and brand image regularly.
>Plan and Execute Promotional Activities
Coordinate in-store promotions, POP displays, sampling programs, and local events.
>Collaborate with Sales Channels Including New Channel (Local Distributor)
Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and end-users (MRO customers).
Research and develop new local distribution channels.
Support to deliver brand and product training to sales partners and distributors.
>Support to Organize Events and Exhibitions
Plan and execute local events to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Coordinate experiential marketing activities, including technical seminars and exhibitions.
>Support KPIs and Measure Effectiveness
Apply the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle to ensure continuous improvement in brand
initiatives.
Requirements:
5 - 7 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, or Technical Sales.
Experience in Automotive Parts, Marketing, Bearing Sales is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proactive and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Fluent in English to effectively operate in a multinational environment.
Must be based or ready to work in Lagos.
Willingness to travel across Nigeria and the region as required.
Employment Terms:
