Description
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute the Group's digital content strategy and editorial planning.
• Provide editorial leadership for digital campaigns and real-time communications support.
• Establish content governance frameworks and quality standards.
• Lead corporate storytelling and copy development initiatives.
• Drive executive visibility across appropriate digital platforms.
• Oversee performance measurement, reporting, and analytics by preparing periodic editorial reports covering delivery against plan, content performance, pipeline status, quality risks and recommended actions.
• Coordinate cross-functional communications initiatives across business units.
• Lead digital crisis communications and rapid response efforts.
• Manage budgets, vendors, agencies, and digital technology partners.
• Build team capability and ensure continuous improvement in digital communications practices
Key Requirements
Education and Work Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Media or a related discipline. A relevant master's degree or professional certification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7 years' relevant experience in editorial management, corporate communications, journalism, digital content or brand storytelling, including experience coordinating multi-channel content.
• Demonstrable portfolio of high-quality corporate, editorial and digital writing.
• Experience working in a large, diversified organisation, reputable media organisation or communications agency is desirable.
Functional Competencies
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and storytelling capability.
• Strong editorial judgement, fact-checking discipline and attention to detail.
• Content strategy, editorial calendar management and publishing workflow coordination.
• Ability to translate complex business information into clear audience-appropriate content.
• Working knowledge of content management systems, social publishing tools, SEO principles and web analytics.
• Understanding of corporate reputation, crisis communications and executive communications.
• Strong stakeholder management, briefing and approval coordination skills.
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and collaborative workflow tools.
