Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of SSCE/High School Certificate; additional vocational training or certification in facility management, hospitality, or a related field is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within an NGO, hospitality, or office environment.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety standards while efficiently following instructions.
  • Good understanding of English is required for both verbal and written communication.


Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of all office and facility areas, including floors, furniture, windows, restrooms, walkways, and signage.
  • Ensure designated spaces such as offices, lobbies, and public areas are consistently clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Monitor and maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies, restocking items such as detergents, deodorizers, and toiletries as needed.
  • Adhere to cleaning schedules and complete tasks as directed by the supervisor to ensure consistency and efficiency in maintaining cleanliness.
  • Uphold hygiene, health, and safety standards in compliance with organizational policies.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and discussions focused on cleanliness and facility upkeep.
  • Exhibit professionalism, punctuality, and accountability in carrying out assigned responsibilities.
  • Promote a respectful, cooperative, and team-oriented work environment while adhering to eHealth Africa's policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct.
