  • Responsible for Day-to-day management of security and safety of the store.
  • Carry out periodic security vulnerability assessment of store and report findings and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with the store manager to decide on priority of the store's security needs and correlate with the organization's budget outlay.
  • Ensure that the needed security staff are always available on ground and create and review all security SOP at their various units and follow up implementation
  • Conduct regular Patrols randomly within and throughout the sections/departments of the store.
  • Make sure constant surveillance of Critical points in respect to Safety & Security of the Store are covered, that is, Fire exits, escape routes are not blocked together with the entrance.
  • Daily Tool Box Meeting/Briefing of team to educate, train, re-train team members.
  • Security of the cash office ensuring all cashiers are closely monitored to ensure no fraud is perpetrated
  • Wastage, Shrinkage must be promptly investigated and reported..
  • Ensure all staff are strictly compliance to all departmental SOPs
  • Opening and Closing of day Store Procedure & final checks/sweeps before locking up must be adhered to strictly.
  • Controlling and minimizing shrinkage by ensuring that the right quality supply are received into the store and recorded.
  • Liaison with GSF and MDA to get their support when needed.
  • Ensure Fire Drills, Fire Management Training Procedures regimen are strictly followed by the team.
  • Customer Service skills in respect to interface with customers in serious transactions situations- return of sales, POS fall-outs, etc.
  • Directly supervise the internal security and external security staff at the store.
