Qualifications & Experience
- HND/Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in Logistics, Transportation, Warehouse, or Supply Chain Management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute logistics strategies to ensure the timely movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products across plants, depots, and customer locations.
- Optimize truck utilization, route planning, fleet deployment, and transportation schedules to improve operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure delivery targets and customer service levels are consistently achieved.
- Source, evaluate, and manage transporters and haulage partners to ensure reliable and cost-effective transportation services nationwide.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Planning, Sales, Procurement, Production, and Finance teams to align distribution plans with business and customer requirements.
- Monitor logistics KPIs including OTIF, truck utilization, freight cost per ton, delivery lead time, vehicle turnaround time, and cost-to-serve metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement contingency plans to mitigate logistics disruptions and supply chain risks.
