Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in humanitarian supply chain or maintenance roles.
• Strong integrity and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in challenging environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong technical and engineering knowledge.
• Professional certification with relevant regulatory bodies is an advantage.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime.
• Prepare and submit proactive maintenance plans for IRC assets and facilities.
• Conduct routine inspections and perform necessary repairs.
• Carry out installation, servicing, and repair of HVAC systems including air conditioners, refrigerators, and water dispensers.
• Maintain electrical systems, plumbing, furniture, and structural fittings (doors, windows, roofs).
• Ensure maintenance of power systems including generators, solar systems, and grid connections.
• Identify and report procurement deviations in line with IRC policies.
• Ensure adherence to IRC Way policies by all staff.
• Support segregation of duties within supply chain functions.
• Review supply chain reports and contribute to improvement plans.
• Report potential policy violations to the Logistics Manager.
• Foster a collaborative and professional work environment.
• Promote staff well-being and work-life balance.
• Support team development and capacity building.
• Ensure compliance with IRC HR policies and procedures.
