Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Rural Development, Business, Administration, statistics, demography, or related subject, with previous experience working in humanitarian projects.
- 2-3 years of previous experience with local or international NGOs.
- Previous experience with FSL, WASH, and Health and Nutrition projects.
- Proficiency in the use of MS Excel or other statistical packages. E.g SPSS, STATA, ODK.
- Fluency in English, Hausa, and Kanuri.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including report writing.
- Ability to work effectively with teams, government institutions, and development partners.
- Demonstrated independence, adaptability, and flexibility in dynamic work environments.
Responsibilities
Coordinate Data Collection, Data Quality Management, Analysis and State Level Reporting
- Participate in the design of programme Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning tools (registers, reporting templates, data bases, etc.) to track FSL, Health and Nutrition, and WASH sectors/projects.
- In collaboration with various sector stakeholders and relevant ACF staff, ensure timely data collection, compilation, and reporting according to the programme MEAL plan.
- Conduct monthly data analysis and prepare monthly programme monitoring reports.
- Ensure the programme database is updated regularly.
- Support programme feedback meetings to communities, facilities, and authorities.
- Support the MEAL Manager to monitor FSL, Health and Nutrition, and WASH sectors/projects across all target communities and communicate findings and progress to Program Managers.
- Participate in the evaluation of FSL, Health and Nutrition, and WASH sectors/projects, focusing on data management of evaluation datasets.
- Support the dissemination and use of evaluation and research reports and propose changes for improvement to the FSL, Health and Nutrition and WASH sectors/projects Team.
- Support coordination of FSL, Health and Nutrition, and WASH sectors/projects monthly, quarterly, biannual and annual reviews and reports as required.
- Participate in the dissemination of program information to communities, beneficiaries, and other stakeholders through a regular feedback mechanism.
- Support the management of the beneficiary complaints and feedback mechanism database.
