Qualifications
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., International Development, Data Science, Data Analytics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Social Sciences, Project Management, Computer Science).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing MEAL systems in development or humanitarian projects.
- Strong analytical and data management skills, with proficiency in relevant software tools.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a comprehensive MEAL framework to track program performance, outcomes, and impact.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and interpretation, using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on program progress, findings, and recommendations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan and conduct program evaluations, including baseline, mid-term, and end-line assessments, to measure the effectiveness and impact of interventions.
- Establish and manage mechanisms for community and beneficiary feedback and ensure timely response to concerns and complaints.
- Facilitate a culture of learning within the organization by documenting lessons learned and facilitating discussions to improve program strategies.
- Train and mentor staff and partners on MEAL tools and techniques to enhance data quality and program effectiveness.
- Ensure data quality through routine data audits and verification exercises.
- Manage the MEAL budget efficiently and in compliance with organizational guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with donor reporting requirements and timelines.
