Duties

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans, outlining timelines, resources, and milestones to ensure successful project execution.
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, monitoring expenses, and ensuring cost-effectiveness throughout the construction process.
  • Import Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive importation strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure advantageous terms.
  • Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with international suppliers.
  • Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate pricing, and address any discrepancies.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with logistics and shipping partners to ensure efficient transportation and on-time delivery.
  • Track shipments, manage customs clearance, and resolve any shipping-related issues.
  • Cost Control and Budgeting: Monitor and control import-related costs to optimize budgetary goals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, providing clear direction, and fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate favorable contracts, ensuring quality materials and services within budget constraints.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure that construction projects meet industry regulations and client specifications
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges that may arise during construction.
