Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Psychology, Law, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in protection or humanitarian programming
- Proven work experience in the implementation of disability inclusion programming
- Experience working with vulnerable groups such as women, children, IDPs, or persons with disabilities
- Familiarity with referral pathways and protection case management principles is an advantage
Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of disability inclusion and protection activities including awareness raising, community outreach, and service delivery
- Coordinate case referrals and work closely with MHPSS, GBV, CP, and other protection actors
- Assist in monitoring protection risks, trends, and community concerns
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure effective project execution and stakeholder engagement.
- Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use of funds and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Facilitate community meetings, sensitization sessions, and protection mainstreaming activities
- Support the establishment and strengthening of community-based protection structures
- Contribute to data collection, activity tracking, and preparation of donor reports
- Ensure activities follow protection principles, safeguarding standards, and do-no-harm principles.
- Support accountability to affected populations (AAP) and feedback mechanisms
