Technical Expertise & Skills

- Minimum of a University Degree, HND, ND, OND or NCE in related field.

- Minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role.

- Excellent ability in computer skills especially Microsoft applications.

- Good understanding of CPIMS+ Primero application

- Having strong understanding of child protection in emergency (CPiE) programming.

- Strong analytical skills.

- Excellent English language writing and speaking skills.

- Fluency in Local Language is mandatory.

- Ability to work collaboratively with others colleagues

- Ability to organize ideas in a logical and structured manner.

- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and facilitation of Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with various population groups to identify protection needs, risks, and priorities.

• Engage women, girls, and adolescents through participatory approaches (e.g., FGDs) to inform programming decisions, including preferences for dignity kits and other assistance.

• Supervise and provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to the Women Protection Team (WPT) to strengthen community-based protection interventions.

• Actively participate in local coordination meetings with partners, community leaders, and stakeholders, ensuring effective information sharing and collaboration.

• Work closely with the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) team to develop, adapt, and implement protection tools such as safety audits.

• Train and supervise enumerators on safety audit methodologies and ensure proper data collection within communities.

• Monitor and oversee the implementation of protection infrastructure (e.g., solar lighting installations) and document impact through success stories and field reports.

• Compile reports from community-based structures such as Male and Boys Support Action Groups (MBSAG), highlighting key challenges, lessons learned, and recommendations.

• Support the safe and inclusive distribution of assistance, ensuring that all population groups are reached with dignity and without discrimination.

• Serve as a Protection Desk Officer at the community level, providing guidance, referrals, and information on available services.
