Job Summary
- The Dangote Cement Plc is seeking a skilled and experienced Refractory Supervisor to join our team.
- As a Refractory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and management of refractory in our plant.
- Your key duties and responsibilities will include participating in planning and organizing refractory repairs, scheduling maintenance and turnarounds, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Duties and Duties
- Plan, organize, and supervise all refractory repairs and turnarounds.
- Schedule refractory maintenance and coordinate activities with other departments.
- Monitor and control refractory inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.
- Train and mentor refractory technicians, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the installation, inspection, and maintenance of refractory linings in high-temperature equipment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations for refractory work.
- Coordinate with engineering and production teams to optimize refractory performance and reduce downtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records of refractory work and inspections.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance refractory processes and performance.
