- OND / BSc / HND in any relevant field
- 6 years of experience working in a hardware store, lumberyard, or construction environment (preferred)
- Knowledge of common building materials, their uses, and safe handling procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Receiving deliveries of building materials (lumber, tools, concrete, roofing supplies, etc.)
- Inspecting deliveries for quantity, quality, and damage
- Verifying received materials against packing slips and purchase orders
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and transactions using inventory management software.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment to customers.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records.
- Organizing the storage area for efficient access and retrieval of materials
- Following safety protocols for storing hazardous materials like paint or chemicals
- Operating warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to move and stack materials (may require certification)
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks and duties as assigned.
