Description
Job Purpose:
The SCM Lead will be responsible for leading and optimizing the supply chain operations across the African region by managing procurement, vendor relationships, cost efficiencies, and compliance.

Demand Management: Collaborate with business functions to forecast and align procurement
needs with SCM strategy.
Cost Optimization: Drive cost-saving initiatives through efficient sourcing and material reuse.
Procurement and Sourcing: Manage end-to-end procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
Vendor andContract Governance: Monitor vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Invoice & Payment Management: Oversee timely invoice processing and payment aligned with
business allocations.
Statutory Compliance: Ensure adherence to audit standards and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing, collaborative supply chain team.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to support business continuity.
Skills & Knowledge
Bachelor’s in Engineering; MBA or Supply Chain specialization preferred
10–15 years in supply chain roles across telecom or office automation industries
Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance
Strong in sourcing, negotiation, and vendor management
Skilled in ERP and procurement systems
