- Assist in shaping, measuring, and assembling material;
- Deliver or hold materials or tools to help tradesmen and, assist in other activities;
- Align and straighten tiles using levels, squares, and straightedges;
- Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas;
- Clean up of job sites;
- Build under beds and install anchor bolts, wires, and brackets;
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as cement, and spread mortar;
- Select tools, equipment, and materials from storage and transport items to the work site;
- Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces;
- Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed by tradesman;
- Prepare, measure and mark the surface to be covered;
- Assist tradesmen in laying cover interior and exterior walls, floors, and ceilings with ceramic, marble, and quarry tile, mosaics, or terrazzo;
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power-cutting tools;
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
