Qualifications & Experience
- 5 O’ level Credits including English & Mathematics in not more than two sittings/Technical qualifications.
- OND qualification in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years cognate experience in water treatment plant operations or utilities management.
- Experience in industrial or manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily operations and maintenance activities of the water treatment plant, including boreholes, treatment units, and distribution systems.
- Supervise installation and execution of WTP-related projects to ensure quality and cost-effective delivery.
- Plan and coordinate availability of spare parts for WTP equipment and associated systems.
- Supervise water treatment technicians and plumbers, including shift scheduling and daily task allocation.
- Monitor and maintain boilers, piping systems, and compressed air loops.
- Collate and review daily maintenance reports and ensure proper documentation.
- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve operational issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant performance and reduce wastage.
