The Operations lead is a pivotal role at PrimeJack, responsible for the development and implementation of food production and processing technologies. This position demands a candidate with more than 5 years of experience in a similar role, possessing a blend of technical expertise, leadership qualities, management and interpersonal skills. The role is key to ensuring that our products are produced efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Requirements
- Degree in Food Engineering or related field
- Over 5 years of experience in food production or R&D
- Experience with food production equipment and technologies
- Demonstrated success in a similar role
- Willingness to travel to the processing hub in Kenya
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Motivated, organised and flexible

Requirements

- Improve existing food production and processing methods, playing an active role in the innovation and R&D process.
- Scaling up of the current sourcing and production to continuously be ready for increased demand.
- Lead the development and implementation of new food products and processes, in collaboration with the NL team, with a strong emphasis on R&D.
- Actively troubleshoot and resolve technological issues in the factory, serving as a hands- on leader in determining and optimizing the right machinery and processes.
- Ensure adherence to food safety and European quality regulations.
- Work closely with and understand the dynamics of the processing hubs in both Uganda and Kenya, managing the balance of interests between the various companies.
- Lead and manage projects and teams effectively, demonstrating Leadership and Teamwork aligned with our core values.
- Overseeing and managing production budgets.
- Working closely with the PrimeJack value chain.
