Description
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Diploma, in mechanical, Electrical, electronics or similar.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
- The ability to lead, motivate, and communicate effectively with team members.
- Ability to identify and resolve packaging issues.
- Knowledge of biscuit production processes, machinery, and equipment.
- Understanding of quality control procedures and standards.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.
- Previous experience working in a related industry preferred.
- Exceptional analytical ability toward solving Packaging-related concerns.
Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating, and guiding a team of packaging operators.
- Assisting the Food controller with administrative tasks like packaging schedules and reports.
- Packaging Team Leader to monitor packaging of products or the effectiveness of the machines, ensure an accurate amount is packed at the right quality.
- Coordinate and plan packaging priorities, workflow, and schedule.
- Identify and report operational and maintenance problems to prevent packaging delays.
- Schedule routine inspection and maintenance of packaging machines to prevent machine breakdowns and malfunctioning.
- Identifying and resolving packaging issues, such as equipment malfunctions or quality problems.
- Appointing labor toward the smooth running of the packaging process.
- Overseeing quality control throughout the packaging process.
- Ensure safety measures and procedures are followed to reduce unexpected incidents and hazards.
- Ensure the packaging process is carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
