Description
Requirements
- Master of Medicine (MMed) in Radiology or equivalent specialist qualification.
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) or equivalent medical degree.
- Registration with Dental and Medical Practitioners Council.
- Valid practicing license.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Radiologist (preferred).
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in modern radiology equipment and imaging software.
Responsibilities
- Interpret and report on X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound examinations, and other imaging procedures.
- Provide timely and accurate diagnostic reports.
- Consult with referring physicians regarding imaging findings and patient management.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety and quality assurance standards.
- Supervise radiography staff and support continuous professional development.
- Participate in departmental meetings, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
