Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Rights, International Law, Social Sciences, or any related field.
  • At least 2 years of humanitarian experience, preferably in community engagement or AAP
  • Experience delivering accountability mechanisms and safe, inclusive community communication
  • Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks independently
  • Strong understanding of community engagement and accountability practices in refugee settings.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and training skills.
  • Ability to collect and analyze community feedback safely and ethically.
Responsibilities

Technical Quality and Strategy

  • Update and review SOPs and Feedback Plans with the AAP Manager
  • Strengthening feedback mechanisms both proactive and reactive in consultation with M&E and programming teams
  • Lead processes to collect, review, classify, and respond to client feedback at field level
  • Conduct FGDs and stakeholder meetings to gather community feedback

Program Development

  • Support the integration of accountability in proposals and reporting
  • Ensure accountability considerations across the full program cycle
  • Develop or adapt accountability communication materials (posters, brochures, noticeboards)
  • Provide basic accountability training—including IRC Code of Conduct—to staff, partners, and community structures

Staff Performance Management, Learning & Development

  • Support capacity building for IRC staff and Camp-Based Assistance (CBA) teams on client responsiveness
  • Document lessons learned and best practices using accountability tools, and sharing internally
