Education Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of practical and progressive management within non-governmental or international development organizations, with experience in scaling organizations an asset
  • Minimum of a BA, MA preferred in a development, business management, or related field.
  • Formal training or equivalent experience in financial management and project management would be considered an asset.


Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive area Specific strategies to address ultra-poverty and promote sustainable development goals.
  • Collaborate with the country senior leadership to align regional objectives with the overall organizational mission and vision.
  • Contributor to Strategic Plan in growth and expansion and the development and implementation of organizational pivots and initiatives

Program Management

  • Program Lifecycle:
  • Overall management and oversight of the districts within the area to ensure program implementation quality, with adherence to timelines and budgets across all strategic implementations.
  • Owner of program design, implementation, and evaluation phases in. his/her area of implementation.
  • Ensure the timely and effective execution of the project lifecycle and serve as escalation support focusing on risk mitigation, conflict resolution, and program solutions.

Staff Training and Development:

  • Team Building
  • Practical on-ground training and development of the Project Manager and other program staff in Skills Practices to deliver the RTV methodology and effectively and efficiently manage human resources and assets.
  • 1-on-1 mentorship of Project Managers and skills development planning.
  • In-field skills training capacity building, best practice adoption, and program staff development.
