Applicants are invited from suitably qualified Ugandans to fill the following vacancies that exist in Kalungu District Local Government. Application Forms PSC (Form 3, Revised 2008) The closing date of receiving applications is THREE WEEKS from the date of this advert. Application forms are obtainable at District Service Commissions Offices Country wide and at Public Service Commission Offices, Kampala or can be downloaded from the Public Service Commission Website www.psc.go.ug. You are urged to refer to the scheme of service for relevant cadres. Job descriptions of 2011 & 2017, from ministry of public service.Applications should be filled in tripricate accompanied by three passport size photographs, copies of all relevant Certificates/Passlips/Transcripts and should indicate the Job title, Reference Number, Telephone Contact, Email and postal addresses. Serving Officers should route their applications through the responsible officers who should be informed of the closing date to avoid delay.

To support the increase and sustenance of fish production from natural water bodies and fish farming in the sub county.

Job purpose:
To support the increase and sustenance of fish production from natural water bodies and fish farming in the sub county.
i. Supervising fishing and fish processing activities;
ii. Sensitising the fish folk on conserving fish diversity;
iii. Collecting and compiling fish catch data and submit to the Fisheries Officer;
iv. Liaising with relevant officers in enforcement of fisheries regulations;
v. Inspecting fish at landing sites and markets; and
vi. Training the fish folk in improved fish farming practices.
