Assistant Lecturer - ATESO - Department of African Languages

Key Duties & Responsibilities

1. Teach, examine and grade students;

2. Supervise research for students;

3. Mentor junior staff;

4. Conduct research and community outreach activities;

5. Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;

6. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Required Qualifications

1. MA in African Languages, or Linguistics, or Literature or Language and Literature Education;
   
2. At least an upper second BA Arts or BA with Education with English Language or Literature or Linguistics as the subjects;
   
3. Fluent in Ateso.
