Description
Education
- A minimum of degree in digital marketing, Communication, PR or related field from an accredited University/Institution
Experience:
- A minimum of 2 years total experience in marketing and/or communications.
- Experience in Telecommunication or Fintech is preferred.
- Experience working in a global/multinational enterprise with a good understanding of emerging markets is preferred.
Responsibilities
Content creation
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content and campaigns across multiple social media platforms and websites.
- Demonstrate strong copywriting skills and asset creation to develop messaging that aligns with MTN’s brand personality and prompts audiences to take action.
- Collaborate with MTN's creative agency and marketing stakeholders to build campaigns, content, and strategies for social media engagement.
- Execute a content plan to increase awareness about integrated campaigns, product awareness, product education, uptake, and usage.
Community Management
- Support the growth and nurturing of MTN's social media audiences, aiming to increase engagement rate and valuable actions.
- Be audience centric, focusing on platform and community moderation, as well as direct audience engagement.
Analytics and Reporting
- Deliver regular analysis and reports on social media metrics, content performance, and campaign results.
Trend Monitoring and Research
- Staying updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices - research industry trends, monitor competitor activities, and identify new opportunities for the brand to leverage on social media platforms.
