Description
The Country Lead: Supply Chain Finance is responsible for leading and integrating the financial strategy, governance, and performance management of the Supply Chain function to enable sustainable value creation. The role provides strategic financial leadership as a trusted advisor, ensuring rigorous financial planning, robust analysis, and strong compliance across all supply chain operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or related field.
- Professional certification or progress toward ACCA, CPA, CIMA is an added advantage.
Experience:
- 12 to 14 years’ experience in a corporate finance environment with at least 6 years focused on financial management activities.
- Experience of finance management in a Supply Chain or FMCG
- Advanced Excel skills, Power BI and MSD 365 will be added advantages

Responsibilities
- Aligning and Managing the Supply Chain financial strategy with corporate goals, performing as a trusted advisor involving leadership in comprehensive financial planning, rigorous financial analysis and governance, and insightful reporting and query resolution.
- Develop a thorough understanding of Supply Chain processes, routines, and components in country.
- Use leadership and professional influence to position Supply Chain financial plans on the corporate and country Finance agenda, representing Supply Chain interests in annual planning forums and decision-making processes.
- Create fiscal plans to support Supply Chain strategy and prepare expenditure motivations.
- Recommend and propose strategies to optimize Supply Chain expenses.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain leadership to identify, review, and approve CAPEX and OPEX budget requirements, coordinating RFAs and providing feedback. Act as the financial subject matter expert for capability-building programs.
- Establish a regular reporting pulse and communicate an annual plan of financial reports.
- Design and formulate various types of reports and create templates and dashboards.
- Ensure timely completion of transactions, monthly closings, and data capturing for financial reports.
- Produce and collate required reports, perform high-level data analysis, and generate predictive insights.
