Qualifications & Skills

• Valid CE driving license with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
  

• Age between 40–55 years
  

• Ugandan nationality with proven cross-border driving experience
  

• Preferably married and stable in family life
  

• Proven experience as a truck driver or in a similar role.
  

• Clean driving record with no recent violations.
  

• Ability to operate trucks, trailers, and other heavy vehicles safely.
  

• Knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance.
  

• LC1 recommendation letter

• Active Stanbic Bank account number
  

• Two recommendation letters
  

• Two referees with contact details
  

• Physical ability to lift, secure, and move cargo.
  

• Good time management and organizational skills.
  

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
  

• Operate company trucks to transport goods and materials.
  

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  

• Load and unload cargo, ensuring goods are secured properly to prevent damage.
  

• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage, fuel usage, and trip records.
  

• Follow assigned routes and schedules while adapting to traffic, weather, or road conditions.
  

• Comply with all regulations, traffic laws, and safety standards.
  

• Report mechanical issues, accidents, or delays promptly.
  

• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
  

• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
