Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  
• Must have graduated within the lastthree (3) yearsfrom a recognized institution

• Support routine checks and testing of protection relays and voltage regulation equipment.
  
• Observe and assist in the configuration and basic troubleshooting of protection devices.
  
• Learn how to read and interpret protection and control schematics.
  
• Assist in drafting or updating simple protection diagrams under supervision.
  
• Participate in the setup and commissioning of basic protection schemes.
  
• Help document test results and commissioning data.
  
• Join field teams during scheduled maintenance of protection and control equipment.
  
• Support in preparing maintenance tools and completing checklists.
  
• Follow all safety procedures during site visits and hands-on tasks.
  
• Attend safety trainings and actively participate in safety briefings.
  
• Collaborate with other engineering teams such as Planning and Systems Control during site visits or data collection activities.
  
• Learn how protection and communication data integrates with overall network performance.
  
• Maintain training logs and submit weekly reports detailing lessons learned, activities participated in, and observations made.
  
• Assist in updating equipment records and data logs.
