Academic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline.
  
• Must have graduated within the lastthree (3) yearsfrom a recognized institution

• Assist in routine inspections and simple maintenance tasks on cables, joints, transformers, and switchgear.
  
• Support equipment handling, cable identification, and site preparation under supervision.
  
• Observe and help with basic diagnostic procedures for underground faults.
  
• Learn to use basic electrical testing tools and equipment.
  
• Follow safety instructions and use PPE correctly at all times.
  
• Understand and observe standard operating procedures and electrical safety regulations.
  
• Record maintenance activities, test results, and learning experiences in a structured trainee logbook.
  
• Assist in preparing simple reports under supervision.
  
• Participate in team meetings, site briefings, and emergency drills.
  
• Collaborate with other departments and technicians during joint operations or planned outages.
