Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Knowledge Management, Communications, Public Health, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Information Science, or related field.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Knowledge Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, or Information Management will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in knowledge management, documentation, communications, or program learning within humanitarian or development programs
  • Experience working in protection, cash assistance, or shelter programming is an added advantage.
  • Experience working in refugees or humanitarian contexts is highly desirable.
Responsibilities

Strengthening Knowledge Management Systems

  • Support the development and implementation of a Knowledge Management and Learning Plan for the Protection project.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized knowledge repository for reports, assessments, case studies, and learning products.
  • Develop systems for capturing and organizing knowledge related to Protection, Cash Assistance, and Shelter programming.

Program Documentation

  • Document project implementation processes, achievements, innovations, and challenges.
  • Develop high-quality knowledge products, including Case studies, Success stories and human-interest stories, Lessons learned briefs, best practice documentation and technical summaries and learning reports
  • Document cash assistance interventions, including beneficiary experiences and post-distribution learning.

Support Learning and Knowledge Sharing

  • Facilitate learning sessions, reflection meetings, and after-action reviews with programming teams.
  • Support the development of learning agenda, learning briefs and evidence summaries to inform program improvements.
  • Organize knowledge-sharing workshops, webinars, and learning forums.

Support Evidence Generation and Communication

  • Collect and document beneficiary stories, impact stories, and testimonials demonstrating program outcomes.
  • Translate technical information into accessible knowledge products such as briefs, infographics, and presentations.
  • Support program teams in packaging information for donor reports and technical documentation.

Coordination and Collaboration

  • Work closely with Protection, Cash, Shelter, and MEAL teams to ensure timely documentation of project activities.
  • Collaborate with communications teams and partners to strengthen knowledge dissemination.
  • Participate in learning and knowledge-sharing platforms within IRC and with external partners.
