Key Duties & Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities

1. Teach, examine and grade students;

2. Supervise research for students;

3. Mentor junior staff;

4. Conduct research and community outreach activities;

5. Write proposals for attracting funding to the department;

6. Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Required Qualifications

1. PhD in Music with specialty in Music Theory or Music Performance or Music Composition or Music Technology;
   
2. Masters degree with specialty in Music Theory or Music Performance or Music Composition or Music Technology;
   
3. An Honors Bachelor’s degree in Music.
