Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience
Deliver warm, personalized hospitality to all guests
Oversee check-in, check-out, and daily guest communications
Handle guest concerns or feedback professionally and promptly
Operations Management
Supervise housekeeping, kitchen, front office, and maintenance departments
Maintain service excellence, cleanliness, and comfort standards
Ensure smooth daily operations across all departments
Financial & Inventory Oversight
Monitor budgets, cash flow, and expenditure
Manage supplier orders and stock levels (F&B, fuel, housekeeping)
Keep accurate records of purchases and usage
Team Leadership
Lead and motivate a multicultural team
Handle staff training, scheduling, and performance reviews
Foster a strong team culture and ensure staff accountability
Environmental & Community Relations
Ensure compliance with sustainability and eco-tourism practices
Build and maintain positive relationships with local communities and partners
Required Skills
Strong leadership, communication, and team management
Proficiency in budgeting, reporting, and lodge software (Excel, POS systems)
High-level guest service and problem-solving abilities
Flexibility and adaptability to remote, off-grid environments
Cultural awareness and respect for local practices
Qualifications
5+ years’ experience managing a lodge, camp, or similar remote hospitality operation
Experience working in high end travel and tour management is an added advantage
The ideal candidate should be a Kenyan ready to relocate to Uganda.

Gross Salary: USD $1,800 – $2,800/month (based on experience)
