Description

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Natural Resource Management, Forestry, Climate Change, Agriculture, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in climate resilience, environmental conservation, DRR, or sustainable livelihoods programming.
  • Experience working with community groups and local government structures.
  • Knowledge of climate-smart agriculture and ecosystem restoration approaches.
  • Experience in humanitarian or development programming is an added advantage.

  • Community Mobilization and Ecosystem Restoration
  • Promotion of Climate-Smart and Regenerative Practices
  • Energy Saving and Waste-to-Energy Solutions
  • School and Community Climate Clubs (Ecosystem-based Adaptation-EbA)
  • Capacity Strengthening of District and Local Structures
  • Protection of Water Sources and Infrastructure
