Quarter Master

To work on the bridge and navigate the ship safely, help to steer the ship during the watch, monitor various instruments, and ensure that deck equipment is in working order.

Qualifications & Experience

• National Certificate of Competence and endorsement Reg I/2, II/1 and II/3
  
• Flag State endorsement of recognition Reg I/10
  
• Global Maritime Distress and Safety System (GMDSS) endorsement Reg IV/2
  
• Basic Safety Training VI/1 (Achieved within previous five (5) years):
  

• a. Personal Survival Techniques
  

• b. Fire prevention and firefighting
  

• c. Elementary First Aid
  

• d. Personal Safety and Social responsibilities
