  • Post-graduate Certificate in Administration.(PGC,Post-Graduate) OR Post-graduate Certificate in Management,(PGC,Post-Graduate) OR Post-graduate Certificate in Health Services Management.(PGC,Post-Graduate) OR Post-graduate Diploma in Administration.(PGD,Post-Graduate) OR Post-graduate Diploma in Management.(PGD,Post-Graduate) OR Post-graduate Diploma in Health Services Management.(PGD,Post-Graduate)
  • Master’s Degree in Pharmacy(Master's Degree,Post-Graduate) OR Master’s degree in Health Supply Chain Management.(Master's Degree,Post-Graduate)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy(Degree,Graduate)
  • At least twelve (12) years’ experience in the delivery of Pharmaceutical Services, three (3) of which should be at the level of Assistant Commissioner in a reputable organisation.

  1. Secretary to the Pharmacy Board.
  2. Implement Board decisions.
  3. Register eligible Pharmacists.
  4. Advise the Ministry of Health and Stakeholders on the practice of Pharmacy professionals.
  5. Oversee and participate in the development of Pharmacy practice laws, regulations and standards.
  6. Oversee the development of the Board Strategic Plans and Business Plans.
  7. Resource mobilization.
  8. Coordinate and supervise all activities of the Board and Secretariat.
  9. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the Board and submit performance reports as required.
  10. Develop strategic collaborations with partners, Civil Society, Private Sector and Government.
  11. Manage assets and property of the Board.
  12. Carry out day-to-day management of the Board.
  13. Monitor and evaluate performance and adherence to set standards.
  14. Oversee the management and accountability of Board funds.
  15. Inspect and have full access, on behalf of the Board, to all Pharmacy Practice Units – both private and public.
  16. Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
