German School Nairobi

Founded in 1969, the German School Nairobi (DSN) is a German speaking school abroad accredited by the The Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs of the Länder in the Federal Republic of Germany. The German School Nairobi is authorised to carry out Secondary School final examinations and to award the High School diploma / school leaving examination certificate. It is our mission to provide a German school education system for German and foreign-speaking children in Kenya that will guide them towards attaining these certificates or enable them to reintegrate into the inner-German school system upon returning to Germany. The responsible body of the German School Nairobi is the German School Society of Nairobi, founded in 1964. All parents of children enrolled in the school automatically become members of the Society.
