🎯 Head of Procurement & Tenders (UN & NGO Contracts)
MMT Alliance – Global Procurement, Supply & Logistics Partner
📍 Remote → Nairobi, Kenya (Onsite)
MMT Alliance is building a high-performance procurement and tendering operation focused on securing and delivering UN, NGO, and Government contracts across humanitarian, medical, infrastructure, and logistics sectors.
Backed by MMT Care (Australia), we are scaling globally with a clear objective:
Build a procurement engine that consistently wins and delivers international contracts.
Role Overview
We are seeking a senior leader to take full ownership of the tendering function. You will lead strategy, execution, and team performance, driving tender wins and revenue growth.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute global procurement and tender strategy
• Identify and select high-value opportunities
• Lead end-to-end tender lifecycle (identification to award)
• Ensure full compliance and high-quality submissions
• Build and manage teams across research, bids, sourcing, pricing, and logistics
• Own and manage tender pipeline and performance tracking
• Improve win rates, efficiency, and bid quality
• Engage with UN agencies, NGOs, suppliers, and partners
Performance Expectations
• Lead 20–40 tenders per month
• Achieve 5–10%+ win rate
• Maintain zero compliance failures
• Build a scalable, high-performing team
Requirements
• Proven experience in procurement, tendering, or bid management
• Experience with UN, NGO, or government contracts (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of compliance, pricing, sourcing, and delivery
• Experience leading teams and managing complex bids
• Familiarity with UNGM, World Bank, or similar systems (advantage)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
