Lake Basin Development Authority Job Vacancies

Lake Basin Development Authority is under the National Treasury & Ministry of Planning, State Department of Planning & Statistics. It was established in 1979 by an Act of Parliament, Cap 442 to spearhead development in the Kenyan portion of Lake Victoria basin. The Act empowers the Authority to undertake overall integrated planning, co-ordination and implementation of programs and projects in the basin. The basin and its catchments cover an area of 39,000 Km² exclusive of Lake Victoria’s area of 4,000 km2. The Authority’s area of jurisdiction covers 18 Counties, 15 of which are fully covered and 3 are covered partially.
