The institution was established in the year 2020 and lies on a 5 acre piece of land 12km from Ugunja town at Mbosie centre.
The courses offered here are on fulltime mode and are facilitated through practical instruction in five departments: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Hospitality & Beauty Management, Business & liberal Studies, Information Communication Technology and Building and Civil engineering Department.
Board of Governors operating under the Ministry of Education, State department for Vocational and Technical Training governs the institution.
The internal administrative structure is organized as follows:

5. Heads of Departments
6. Heads of Sections.
Trainees,, trainers, other employees and visitors must adhere to all COVID-19 protocols with very limited exceptions, such as when feeding.
