What amazed me with Fuzu is how they made a perfect companion throughout every step of the way. They would daily recommend to me jobs that match my skills, guide me on my CV preparation.

First, I would like to thank Fuzu very much for the good job out there. I am a beneficiary of your work and will forever be a grateful and passionate user of your platform. Many thanks too for the opportunity and consideration you offered me to share my Fuzu experience and job search journey. To be honest, the job search journey is a very tiring one, a journey one begins and knows not when it will end. My job search journey with Fuzu isn’t an exception.

I first learnt of Fuzu in 2018 while I was actively searching for a job. My employment contract then was coming to an end and I was preparing myself for the ensuing life change. I registered with Fuzu and began my job search. I discovered that Fuzu has an easy profile creation process, but which upon its completion contains most of the important qualities any employer looks at to consider a job seeker by the first look at their profile amongst thousands of applications.

However, what amazed me with Fuzu is how they made a perfect companion throughout every step of the way. They would daily recommend to me jobs that match my skills, guide me on my CV preparation, how to update my profile  and application process. Besides, I would be reading their articles and getting feedback on my application process, how I scored among other competing applicants and where I needed adjustments. This nurturing ensured I never lost hope along the journey. I finally got my first interview two months after my previous contract ended, and landed a permanent job on my second interview in July 2019.

"This nurturing ensured I never lost hope along the journey."

A well written CV is a critical tool for any job seeker. This is the first image a prospective employer looks at. A well written one gives you an edge and higher chance of consideration by the prospective employer. So, it better stand out above the rest. A good CV should include all important selling points and should suit the job being applied for. It should include your personal profile, academic/professional qualifications, work experience, hobbies, professional membership if any referees.

Fuzu has not only been a job site portal to me, but a career development site to visit frequently for short courses, job placements, career advice and career coaching/ mentorship and connection to professionals from other fields. I would strongly encourage any professional to use Fuzu, and experience a breath-taking job search journey coupled with learning and top-quality skill acquisition. Life isn’t a problem to be solved but a reality to be experienced, FUZU moulds and makes.
