Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Animal Science, Agricultural Business, Agribusiness, or a related field
2 to 5 years experience in a similar field
Demonstrated ability to understand technical products and communicate their benefits clearly and effectively to non-technical audiences
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong interpersonal skills, including relationship-building, communication, and presentation abilities.
Excellent planning, organizational, and self-motivation skills.
Ability and willingness to travel extensively to engage with clients and attend field activities.
Experience working with farmers and agricultural stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or CRM tools.

Responsibilities
Achieve sales targets and meet prescribed performance indicators
Implement marketing strategies to enable organization to achieve its sales objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with Animal Health practitioners and other stakeholders in the Animal Health industry, to increase sales
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing as well as prospective customers
- Stay up to date with industry trends, new market entrants as well as existing competitors
Collect and submit data on competitor activities in the assigned areas of operation
- Mobilize, demonstrate, train and offer technical advice to farmers and other stakeholders
Provide technical support and information to existing as well as prospective customers
Identify and develop new business opportunities by identifying customer needs and market trends
Manage customer accounts within the assigned areas of operation
Map out all key existing and prospective customers within assigned areas of operation
Prepare and submit route plan, visit and expense reports, weekly, monthly or quarterly as required
Make and maintain contact with Ministry of Agriculture & Livestock Development officers as well as County Vet Officers in the assigned areas of operation
Collect and submit information on marketing events within assigned areas of operation for inclusion in organizations marketing calendar.
Attend any prescribed training
- Maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with customers, fellow colleagues and other associates
