Description
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- Have general knowledge of basic engineering principles and good mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Be able to become proficient in running basic logging-while-drilling jobs/services.
- Have the ability to work in a global matrix organization.
- Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Have exceptional organizational, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Have the ability to travel (potential for travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, trainings, etc.).
- Comfortable presenting in front of an audience of experienced peers
Responsibilities
- Learning under direct supervision in well design and applications engineering modelling as assigned.
- Must be able to read, analyse well schematics, design Bottom Hole Assemblies, conduct Torque & Drag analysis, Hydraulics modelling analysis, well engineering broomstick modelling and perform basic well planning and anti Collision monitoring.
- Performing all required responsibilities safely and as described in work instructions. Executes other related duties as assigned by the supervisors.
- Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.
- Must complete all training and development programs required within Applications Engineer -1 Program and all local training and development programs.
