Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Construction Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and in line with quality standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise construction projects from start to completion
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery
Oversee site operations and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations
Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management
Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications and standards
Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve issues in a timely manner
Manage procurement of materials and equipment
Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and project staff
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5–8 years’ experience in construction project management
Proven experience managing large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and project management principles
Familiarity with local regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements in Kenya
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Registration with relevant professional bodies (e.g., Engineers Board of Kenya) is an added advantage
