Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum KCSE certificate or equivalent qualification.
  
• Previous experience in gardening, landscaping, horticulture, or a related field will be an added advantage.
  
• Knowledge of basic gardening, plant care, irrigation, pruning, and pest control.
  
• Ability to operate and maintain basic gardening tools and equipment.
  
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors for extended periods.
  
• Good work ethic, reliability, and attention to cleanliness.
  
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  

Key Responsibilities

• Water, fertilize, prune, weed, and replant flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plants.
  
• Monitor and control pests and plant diseases to maintain healthy vegetation.
  
• Maintain gardens and green areas within the factory, office, and dormitory premises.
  
• Remove dead branches, fallen leaves, weeds, and other garden waste.
  
• Maintain and properly use gardening tools and equipment.
  
• Inspect and maintain irrigation systems and facilities to ensure proper functioning.
  
• Keep all green areas clean, neat, safe, and aesthetically appealing.
  
• Support landscaping and planting activities as required.
  
• Ensure gardening tools and equipment are kept clean, secure, and in good working condition.
  
• Perform any other duties related to gardening and landscaping as assigned by the supervisor.
