Description
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Minimum KCSE Mean Grade: C- (minus).
- At least three (3) years of relevant hands-on experience.
- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).
- Demonstrated ability to maintain mechanical equipment and observe safety standards.

Responsibilities
- Provide technical support during mechanical practical sessions and workshop activities.
- Prepare, issue, and maintain mechanical tools, machines and training equipment.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health, safety and environmental standards in workshops.
- Maintain inventory and accurate records of workshop tools, equipment and consumables.
- Carry out routine maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment and machinery.
- Assist in the preparation of practical examinations, demonstrations and student projects.
