The scholarship package shall cover tuition fees and research costs for the full duration of study. Eligibility is limited to Kenyan citizens aged thirty (30) years or below, who will additionally be engaged as Tutorial Fellows. Programmes of study funded under the scholarship are scheduled to commence in August 2026

Requirements for Technician

• Minimum of KCSE Mean Grade: C- (Minus);
  
• Alternative Route: A Certificate in Leather technology or related field from a recognized and accredited Institution;
  
• The successful candidates shall be bonded under the applicable terms and conditions of theGarissa University;
  
• The successful candidates shall be expected to complete their studies within the prescribedstudy period;
  
• Application forms can be obtained from the University website www.gau.ac.ke; the office of the Registrar (Academic & Student Affairs) or the Admissions Office, GarissaUniversity;
  
• The studies will be tenable at TVET Institutions in Kenya;
  
• Candidates must be registered or registrable with relevant professional and or regulatory bodies where applicable;
