We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Carding LineSupervisor to lead the operation of our opening and carding line within ourgrowing Pineapple Leaf Fibre (PALF) processing facility. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for maintaining the carding line in optimaloperating condition, ensuring compliance with quality requirements, and ensuringoperational targets are achieved safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the daily operation of the opening and carding line.
Ensure the carding line is maintained and kept in good working condition.
Coordinate routine servicing and basic maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
Monitor machine performance and report technical issues requiring corrective action.
Supervise factory workers assigned to the production line and ensure adherence to production schedules.
Maintain accurate production records and track production data.
Maintain registers and documentation required for quality and certification purposes.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, quality management systems, and operational standards.
Promote and enforce health, safety, and environmental requirements within the production area.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity, quality, and operational efficiency.
Prepare and submit production and performance reports as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of five (5) years' experience working with carding, fibre processing, textile processing, or similar industrial production lines.
Experience supervising production line operations and factory personnel.
Experience managing production performance and achieving operational targets.
Experience maintaining production records, operational data, and quality documentation.
Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) environment.
Experience in production line setup, commissioning, optimization, or continuous improvement will be an added advantage.
