Description

We are seeking a highly analytical PTR Accounting Associate to join our finance team. In this role, you will be a cornerstone in collecting and analyzing information from the General Ledger (GL), bank statements, and corporate systems. Your primary focus will be guiding the technical team, leading the migration of accounts to the Intacct system, and proposing application improvements to ensure total reconciliation of all accounts.

Working Conditions 🕒
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (GMT-5).

  • Flexibility: The ability to modify the work schedule based on operational needs is a significant plus.

Requirements & Skills 🎓
  • Education: Technical degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience.

  • Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance-related roles.

  • Technical Tools:

    • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Must be fluent with Pivot Tables and complex formulas).

    • Solid command of Microsoft Word, E-mail, and accounting ERP systems.

  • Competencies: Strong leadership potential, exceptional attention to detail, highly organized, and proactive mindset.


Responsibilities
Main Responsibilities 🚀
  • Technical Support: Provide the team with all necessary information for bank and payroll tax reconciliations, ensuring completion within established closing deadlines.

  • System Migration: Analyze and lead the transition of bank accounts to the Intacct system, ensuring data integrity and reconciliation.

  • Quality & Compliance: Maintain high-quality work within the department while consistently meeting all client deadlines.

  • Audit Support: Assist with the preparation and responses for audit requirements as requested by the client.

  • Problem Solving: Proactively identify and propose effective solutions to daily operational challenges and closing discrepancies.

  • Talent Management: Support the selection of new hires and lead the onboarding process for new team members.

  • Client Relations: Respond to all client requests in a timely, professional manner and provide operational status updates as required.
